Damn! My rebills are doing down – the count and the revenue. Why? What can I do about it?
It was a Friday morning. Thursday night had been big. A little too big. Ante thought to himself, “I gotta leave this town.” It wasn’t the first time he’d thought that during a “morning after.”
Yet, there he was at his desk. Checking his stats at 09:00. Same time as every other day.
Ante scanned his results. His rebills grabbed his attention from the lower right hand corner of his screen. He didn’t like what he saw. The number was low. Too low…
Instantly Ante felt a headache coming on, and a twist in his stomach.
“WTF?” He said out loud to no one in particular.
Ante wasn’t sure what was more annoying. The fear he felt in his body – head and stomach – as he thought about his company’s rebills dropping and what that meant for his monthly goals and his company and his job. Or was it the steps he knew he would have to take over the next couple of days. The hours he would have to spend digging through data, adding one source to another in spreadsheet after spreadsheet. The back and forth with his biller asking follow up questions. All of this to get something close to an answer, maybe.
The whole process made him sick.
Ante thought to himself, “there has to be another way. A better way. I can’t keep going on like this.”
